Integrate with the Webcam module

Use the Webcam module to add a local webcam view into your dashboard.

Keep in mind: This will not broadcast the webcam to other viewers of your dashboard. It is specifically for local viewing.

Adding the module

Choose the Webcam module from the module editor.

In the module editor, you can choose to “Allow webcam audio” which will let you listen to any audio on the webcam source.

When done, hit “Save” and the Webcam module will be added to your dashboard.

Next, choose a webcam from the list.

After a few seconds, you will see the webcam appear on your dashboard.

To change your webcam source, hover over the module on your dashboard and choose “Switch webcam”.

Then, choose another source from the list.

With a few extra tools on your computer, you can show NDI sources on your dashboard.

First, visit the Official NDI website and download the latest tools.

Next, launch “NDI Virtual Input” on your computer and choose an NDI source on your network to route to the NDI virtual input.

Finally, choose “NDI Video” as the webcam source on your dashboard and you will see the NDI video appear within a few seconds.
